Practice notes

Djent's trick: the kick follows a riff in groups of five sixteenths while the hats and snare stay in plain 4/4 half-time, so the two only realign after five beats. Keep the snare on 3 like a rock anchor and let the kick wander. Count the kick "1-2-3-4-5" out loud.
